Wow! You hit the jackpot with your host family. How marvelous that they took you to Zakopane and Krakow right after arriving in Poland. Isn’t Zakopane charming? Did you see the horses with the “crazy” wooden horseshoes? And, to have the good fortune to visit during the festival…amazing!!
Hope you made a wish at Sigismund’s Bell in Wawel. And, I hope it comes true. ;)
Good luck with your studies being in Polish. I sure do admire you, Kirsten. Polish is one, tough language. I’d have to learn how to say “huh?” in Polish to survive. hehehe
LOVE the pictures! Aside from your blog, I hope you’re keeping a DAILY journal. It might seem like a hassle right now, but you’ll be glad you took the time to write it, in the years to come.
